Cedarwood in Velixir perfumes
A dry, clean wood that smells of pencil shavings and cigar boxes.
Cedarwood is the dry, straight-edged wood of perfumery. It gives structure to the base of a perfume, balances sweetness and pairs with vetiver, patchouli and amber. Different cedars (Virginia, Atlas, Himalayan) smell slightly different, but a list that says only cedar or cedarwood does not name one.
