Privacy
This site collects as little as a website can. No cookies and no forms; links to the shop carry a tag that says where you came from.
What we do not do
- This site sets no cookies.
- No script sends data anywhere, and none runs for statistics, advertising or social media. One small script tags links to the shop; it is described below.
- Fonts, images and scripts all come from this domain, not from other companies.
- There are no accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up and no visitor ratings.
What does happen
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To show a page, Cloudflare's servers process the technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, the page requested, the time and the type of browser. Cloudflare does this as our hosting provider and may keep logs for a short time for security and reliability. We do not use that data to recognize visitors and we do not build profiles.
If you send us an email, we use your address and message to reply to you.
Links to the shop
The buttons on this site lead to the FragranceGems shop on fragrance-gems.eu and its other language versions. The shop has its own privacy and cookie policy, which applies as soon as you are there.
At the moment you click a link to the shop, a small script on this site adds four tags to its address: the name of this site, the word referral, the campaign name merkgids and the page you were on. FragranceGems, the publisher of this guide and the owner of the shop, uses them to see what the guide brings in. The script stores nothing in your browser, sets no cookie and sends nothing to anyone else; the links in the page itself stay as they are.
